The first working day at the 62 Infantry Division for the year 2023 on Monday commenced with the recital of the National Anthem and the Army Song before the flag hoisting was done by the General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division, Major General Janka Ranasinghe together with Colonel General Staff.
Thereafter, the ‘Oath of government servants’ was given by all ranks and then, the new year message of Commander of the Army was pass to the All Officers and Other Ranks. In addition, a tea was arranged for all ranks of the 62 Infantry Division and in the evening friendly volleyball match was organized with the participation of the General Officer Commanding and All Ranks of the 62 Infantry Division.
