The troops of the 62 Infantry Division and 622 Infantry Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) with the patronage received from the TV Derana ‘Manushathwaye Sahana Yathrawa’ declaredly opened and handed over Smart Class Room for Kiriibbanwewa Maha Vidyalaya on 28 December 2022.
The organizational aspect of the project got underway under the guidelines given by the General Officer Commanding, 62 Infantry Division, Major General Janaka Ranasinghe and under the supervision of Brigadier Enoj Herath, Commander, 622 Infantry Brigade.
The 62 Infantry Division’s General Officer Commanding attended the occasion as the Chief Guest. Lieutenant Colonel Senaka Munasinghe, Commanding Officer of the 9th Battalion the Gajaba Regiment coordinated the launched of the event.
The programme was sponsored by TV Derana and coordinated by Mr Mahes Jayawardhana - Project Chairman with his team members, Mr Aruna Soysa - consultant, Mr Harshana Jayarathne, Ms Nadeesha Dilrukshi, Mr Primal Coorey, Mr Thamara Deshan and Mr Dinuka Prasad.
