PLANTATION PROGRAMME AT KANESHAPURAM PRIMARY SCHOOL

In view of inspiring the school children on tree plantation and to develop the school infrastructure facilities in the future by cashew harvest, 651 Infantry Brigade has launched a programme of planting 100 Hybrid Cashew saplings at Kaneshapuram Primary School on 20 December 2022 under the supervision of Brigade Commander 651 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Wasantha Bandara with the coordination of Kilinochchi District Divisional Manager of Sri Lanka Cashew Cooperation, Mr. R Sanjeewan. The occasion was graced by the General Officer Commanding - 65 Infantry Division, Major General Prasad Edirisinghe as the chief guest. Troops of 651 Infantry Brigade and 17 (V) SLLI, teachers, students and their parents participated in the event.
