‘Pahata Pahak’ programme had been held at 622 Infantry Brigade AOR on 25 October 2022, to facilitate grade 5 students to uplift their knowledge before sit for the grade 5 scholarship examination.
At the outset, ten set of examination based module papers were distributed among 290 grade five students who are representing 15 schools at Welioya Area.
The programme was scheduled as per the instructions and directions of General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP ndu psc and the supervision of Commander 622 Infantry Brigade Brigadier EnojHerath RSP USP psc. The event was organized by the Commanding Officers of 9 and 20 the Gajaba Regiment.
This programme sponsored by the Alumini friends of Royal College Colombo together with Old scholarly friends of University of Sri Jayawardenapura as per the concept and initiative taken by Mr. Prasad Lokubalasooriya. Other members of the committee are Mr. Thilanka Mendis, Mr. Kushan Chathuranga, Mr. Nadeera Jayasinghe, Ms. Sadamali Gonagala and Mr. Sachith Gayan Wickramarachchi.
