DONATED DRY RATION PACKS FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN 54 INF DIV AOR

With the blessings of the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Champaka Ranasinghe RWP RSP and guidance from General Officer Commanding of 54 Infantry Division Maj Gen Dharshana Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commander 543 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Thushara Harasgama RSP organized a dry ration packs donation campaign worth of Rs. 5000.00, for selected 100 low income families living in 543 Inf Bde AOR.

The campaign was organized in parallel to the Sri Lanka ARMY 73rd Anniversary. The event was held in Cultural Hall at Mannar on 10 October 2022 and financial contribution for this event was provided by Shanthi Community Animation Movement Colombo, Cool Man Ice Factory and donors found by 11 SLA and 4 VIR troops. GOC 54 Inf Div, Commander 543 Inf Bde, Civil Affairs Officer 54 Inf Div, Civil Affairs Officer 543 Inf Bde, COs’ Officers and Mrs. Sujeewa Rathnayaka of Shanthi Community Animation Movement Colombo were participated for the event.
