HANDED OVER THE RENOVATED WARD 11 TO THE HOSPITAL BY THE ARMY IN 54 INF DIV AOR

With the guidance of General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division Major General Dharshana Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc, one of the programs carried out in conjunction with the 12th Anniversary of the Division, the ward 11 which was closed due to various defects of the District General Hospital Mannar was renovated and handed over to the hospital under the supervision of the Regional Director Health Services Mannar, on 29th September 2022. About Rs. 300,000.00 was spent on these renovation works and financial contributions were made from the fishermen's societies and trade union Mannar. GOC 54 Inf Div, Comd 543 Inf Bde, Col Coord 54 Inf Div, Doctors and staff of the hospital and members of the fishermen's societies and trade union were participated for the event. A gift was awarded to the resident patients in the ward on this occasion.
