PROGRAMME FOR SCHOOL AND PRESCHOOL CHILDRENON ACCOUNT OF WORLD CHILDREN'S DAY

As pre the guidance of General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division Major General E A D P Edirisinghe psc and under the supervision of Command 653 Infantry Brigade Brigadier DNC Serasingha RSP USP, troops of 24 Gajaba Regiment conducted the donation programme on 03 Oct 2022 on account of World Children's Day.

During the programme school stationeries were donated to 56 students of grade 1 to 5 and snacks were provided to all students (195 students) and staff of Thachchanamaradhamadhu M/V, Madhu. And also donated story books and provided lunch to 20 students in preschool at Thachchnamaradhamadhu.

This event was organized and coordinated by the Civil Alfas Officer of 653 Infantry Brigade Lieutenant Colonel GADP Ganehiarachchi SLNG and Major AQ Major MDS Isuruwan SLNG with the participation of troops of 653 Infantry Brigade, principal and staff of Thachchanamaradhamadhu M/V and parents.
