Distribution of dry ration for low income families was taking place at gen areas Kayanagar, Periyamadhu (E) and Periyamadhu (W) GN Divisions administrator under Manthei (W) DS Division in Mannar District on Wednesday 29th June 2022. 150 low income family members were benefited.
The Sri Lanka Sri Siddhartha Foundation and Tan Ngk Buay & Kee Meng Lang Foundation Limited (Singapore), provide financial aids for the event. The event was organized and coordinated by the 653 Infantry Brigade.
The DS Manthei (W) Mr. DC Aravinda Raj attend as a chief guest for the event other than that Dr.Besil - Periyamadhu hospital, Comd 653 Inf Bde Brigadier DNC Serasingha RSP USP, CAO 653 Inf Bde Lt Col DilhanGanehiarachchi and troops form 653 Inf Bde were participated for the event.
