A distribution of food parcels (dry rations) to 55 economically disadvantaged families living in the Aushadapitiya, Irattaperiyakulam area got underway 19 June 2022, under the patronage of the Commander 211 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chaminda Wijayarathna. The community-care programme was sponsored by the Businessman Mr. Saman Gunathilake and his family members. The event was attended by the Commander 211 Infantry Brigade , Officers, Other Ranks and the Commanding Officer, 2(V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and other ranks.
