HANDED OVER OF NEW HOUSE BUILT BY ARMY TO A DESERVING SINGLE MOTHER WITH TWO CHILDREN IN ANGUNOCHCHIYA, MEDAWACHCHIYA ON 20 JUNE 2022

The newly constructed house by the troops of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of 211 Infantry Brigade was ceremonially handed over to the underprivileged family of Mrs. R Kumuduni Sriyani Rathnapala, residing in Angunochchiya, Medawachchiya on 20 June 2022 by the General Officer Commanding - 21 Infantry Division, Brigadier Nishshanka Eriyagama and Brigadier Chaminda Wijayarathna - Commander of 211 Infantry Brigade.

The housing project was implemented under sponsorship coordinated by Mrs. M C Mallawaarachchi - Divisional Secretariat office Medawachchiya. Commander - 211 Infantry Brigade, and number officers and other ranks were also present on aforesaid occasion. Further, construction assistance provision by 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment liaison with 2nd Battalion Engineer Service Regiment.
