DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL ITEMS FOR LOW INCOME CHILDREN IN THE 56 INFANTRY DIVISION AREA

School equipment distribution ceremony for low income school children from the Kanagarayanakulam area was held on 30th March 2022 from 1300 hrs to 1400 hrs at Kanagarayanakulam Mha Vidyalaya under the supervision of the Commander 56 Infantry Division and 561 Infantry Brigade Commander. With the support of the Royal College Colombo past pupil’s friends, Sri Jayewardenepura university friends and all Sri Lankans / World friends who are interesting in value of learning donate school equipment.

Mr.Prasad Lokubalasuriya, chief organizer, Mrs.SamanthiWijewardena ,Mrs.Chandrika Ipperumaarachchi representing their organization. Commander 561 Infantry brigade Brigadier GPP Kulathilake, Commander 563 Infantry brigade Colonel AGSM Perera RWP usp, 56 infantry Brigade Civil Affair Officer Lieutenant Colonel MR Jayasinghe, 16th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Commanding Officer and 04 x 20 troops and 17(V) Battalion Vijayabahu Regiment Commanding Officer were participated for the event.
