A farewell programme for outgoing Commander - FMA (NC) Maj Gen K P S Silva was conducted on 09 and 10 Jan 2022 at this HQ and 2 ESR. On 09 Jan 2022, A Guard turn-out and a Guard of Hounor delivered to the Comd - FMA (NC) and subsequently, Comd joined to a group photograph and addressed the tps of FMA (NC).
After the tps address, Comd joined the openings of newly constructed Guard Room, Armory, Saloon and renovated Cpl’s Club at this HQ and planted a sapling in front of the Gd Room. The Comd - FMA (NC) also participated to the farewell lunch at 2 ESR. Comd - FMA (NC) was departed from this HQ after participating to an all ranks tea party at PM hrs on 10 Jan 2022.
