The Ariyankulamtank bund in Nochchikulamarea was damaged on 26th November 2021, due to the heavy rains prevailed in the last few days. Renovation of the tank bund have been carried out by the troops of 15 (V) SLSR with the direction of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General U U K L S Perera RWP RSP USP psc and with the close supervision of the Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Brigadier A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP. Villagers in Nochchikulam area were also participated for the renovation of the tank bund along with 15 (v) SLSR troops
