As per the direction given by Major General UUKLS Perera RWP RSP USP psc – GOC 56 Infantry Division and with the supervision of Brigadier KPA Perera RSP - Comd 563 Inf Bde, 21 SLSR troops have mended a descended part of the Nochchikulam tank bund due to heavy rain, during the dark hours on 31 October 2021.
Troops rushed to the said location at instant they received the message and executed from 1930 hrs to 2355 hrs despite the heavy rain. Community was applauded to the troops for the given assistance even in the adversative weather.
