To coincide with the 72nd Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, a newly - constructed house was vested to a needy family of Mr. CR Priyadarshana, No: 04 A, Ethawetunuwewa, Welioya on 10th October 2021 under the patronage of Major General Upali Gunasekara RWP USP IG - General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division.
The house was constructed by the troops of the 14th (V) Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the supervision of Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Jinesh Liyanagama, with the guidance of the Brigadier Keerthi Perakum RWP RSP Commander - 621 Infantry Brigade with the financial assistance given by Sadahamsuwa Buddhist Association, Vavuniya Hospital.
