A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE WAS HANDED OVER TO THE LOW INCOME FAMILY IN KANAGARAYANKULAM

The Concept of community development programme initiated by Commander of the Army, handed over newly constructed house to a low income widower of Mrs Sanjeewan Kumuduni who resides in Vinghanakulam Kangarayankulam on 03rd October 2021 for conside with the 72nd Sri lanka Army Anniversary day. This project was coordinated by Maj Gen A A D N S Dunuwila (Rtd) RWP RSP USP and Mr Ajith P Rambukkana, under the guidance of GOC 56 Infantry Division and supervision by 561 Infantry Brigade. The newly build house was constructed by 16 SLSR troops.

General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Maj Gen U U K L S Perera RWP RSP USP psc participated as the Chief Guest and Maj Gen A A D N S Dunuwila (Rtd) RWP RSP USP participated as the Guest of Honour of this ceremony. Mrs Sujeewa Dasanayake living in Australia was the main financial sponsor. Mr Ajith P Rambukkana and relations of main sponsor participated in handing over the keys to the beneficiary along with, Commander 563 Infantry Brigade Brig K P A Perera RSP, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade Col G G P Kulathilake, CAO 56 Infantry Division Lt Col W K A S Priyanthalal RWP RSP and Commanding Officer 16 SLSR Maj S M S Sooriyabandara psc.
