DISTRIBUTION OF DRY RATION PACKETS TO THE VILLAGERS

Having the prime intention of easing difficulties of the most under privileged families during this difficult period in 56 Infantry Division AOR, 100 dry ration packs, one worth of 5000.00 rupees were donated on 10 Sep 2021 with the participation of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Maj General Hemantha Bandara RWP RSP USP, Commander 56 Infantry Division Maj General Laksiri Perera RWP RSP USP psc.

Financial contribution for this timely needed programme was sponsored by Reshan Dinal De Alwis, Senani Kodithuwakku, Nihal Rathnayake, Kithmini Kodithuwakku, Olga Senevirathne, Soma Kirthi Rajasinghe and Nilmini Lankathilake who are presently living in the UK. This dry ration distribution programme was coordinated by Lt Col Prasantha De Silva SLE, GSO 1 (Coord) of 56 Infantry Division.
