OPENING OF THE BELL TOWER AT ETAMBAGASKADA KIRIWEHERAGAMA SRI DANTHA DHATHU RAJAMAHA VIHARAYA

With the directions of the chief incumbent of Etambagaskada Temple and the Kiriweheregama Rajamaha Viharaya, the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP declaredly open the newly constructed Bell Tower in the temple on 9th September 2021.

This was constructed by the troops of 7th and 21st Battalions of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and the event was graced by the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division Major General U U K L S Perera RWP RSP psc, Brigade Commander of 563 Infantry Brigade Brigadier K P A Perera RSP, Civil Affairs Officer of 563 Infantry Brigade Lieutenant Colonel M A C P Marasinghe and the Commanding Officer of 21st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Lieutenant Colonel M P S K Nilmalgoda RWP USP, Commanding Officer of 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Major M A J M Perera RWP RSP psc and troops who constructed the Bell Tower.
