The Derana Media Network has conducted a “Manusath Derana” programme at Nandimithragama and Pirappanmaduwa village on 21st August 2021. In that programme 1000 packs of dry ration were distributed among the needy families in Pirappanmaduwa, Mahakachchikodiya, Nandimithragama, Selalihinigama, Namalgama and Vimankallu Tamil Village.
Distribution of ration packs were done with participation of the Commander 563 Infantry Brigade Brigadier K P A Perera RSP, Security Force (Wanni) Chief Coordinating Civil Affairs Officer, 56 infantry division and 563 Infantry Brigade Civil Affairs Officers and Commanding Officers of 7th and 21st of Sri Lanka sinha Regiment along with 15 Soldiers participated for this event.
