FIELD VISIT CONDUCTED BY GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 65 INFANTRY DIVISION

General Officer Commanding, 65 Infantry Division Maj Gen D M T B Dissanayaka RSP USP made official field visit to under command Brigades and Battalions to inspect operational readiness of his under command on 19 May 2021 and 07,08,10 June 2021.

He visited all under command Inf Bde 651, 652, 653 and BTS Mulankavil. During the visits, all Commanding Officers and all Coy Comds conducted operational briefing on their respective areas including the deployment of roadblocks and static points. Afterwards General Officer Commanding visited all the roadblocks and static points in order to ensure the operational readiness of ground troops.

On 08 June 2021, GOC visited Battalion Training School at Mulankavil. Chief Instructor of Battalion Training School briefed all training matters pertaining to the ongoing recruit course. During the visit of GOC all Bde Command, Cos and Gred I staf officers were parcitipeted.
