62 INFANTRY DIVISION TROOPS EXTEND GOODWILL TO TEMPLES AND NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE AREA

Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding, 62 Infantry Division Major General Upali Gunasekera, 62 Infantry Division troops extended their goodwill by alms giving to temples of the AOR as an ate of virtue amidst pandemic bit environment, it was found that prelates were facing certain difficulties in fulfilling their daily alms requirements. Hence, this division troops assisted in providing alms to prelates in the area and dry rations for some needy families in the area.
