The combined Army/Police Road Block which is established in Puttur on the A-09 Road was inspected by the Commander Security Force (Wanni) after which he gave direction to the Commanding Officer 16 SLSR to improve the standard and provide proper accommodation facilities to the soldiers.
As per the instructions of Commander Security Force (Wanni) the combined Road Block was renovated and re-established on 18 May 2021.
The commander appreciated the effort made by Brigade Commander, Commanding officer of 16 SLSR and his troops to elevate the standard of Road Block and facilities of the soldiers. He further stated the present appearance and layout of the Road Block may also help to enhance the image of the Army.
