Security Force Wanni taking another step forward for the housing project laid the foundation stone for a new house of Mrs Deepika Sanjeewani living in Mundimuruppu Vavuniya on 30th April 2021 in wanni AOR. Mrs Deepika Sanjeewani is living in Mundimuruppu Vavuniya and was undergoing lot of hardships even without a primary shelter to reside. The Buddhist Association of the People’s Bank sponsored fund’s to construct this house.
Foundation stone for the construction of house was auspiciously laid by General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Maj Gen A A D N S P Dunuwila RWP RSP USP gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Construction of the house was under taken by troops of 17 (V) SLSR with the guidance and supervision of Commander 56 Infantry Division and Commander 562 Infantry Brigade.
Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Brig A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP, Assistant Regional Manager People’s Bank Vavuniya, Commanding Officer of 17 (V) SLSR, Senior Officers/Officers and Other Ranks, Family members of beneficiary along with number of civilians in the village too were present at the ceremony.
