DISINFECTION PROGRAM IN VAVUNIYA TOWN

Troops of 21 SLSR conducted a disinfection Program in Vavuniya town from 0700 hrs to 1100 hrs on 28 April 2021 covering Vavuniya market, hospital circular road, front and rear gate area of the hospital, besides the road connecting hospital circular road, old bus stand, railway station and Bazzar Street in order to prevent spreading of corona virus in the area with an absolute guidance of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP, instructions of GOC 56 Infantry Division Major General A A D N S P Dunuwila RWP RSP USP and the supervision of Commander 563 Infantry Brigade Brigadier K P A Perera RSP .

Commander 563 Infantry Brigade, Officers of 563 Infantry Brigade headquarters, 2x50 troops of 21 SLSR and MOH office in Vavuniya gave their assistance towards this endeavor. Moreover, a fire extinguisher vehicle and a water bowser was given by municipal council in Vavuniya to successfully carry out the programme
