CIVIL - MILITARY COORDINATING MEETING CONDUCTED BY 65 INFANTRY DIVISION

Under the guidance of Major General DMT Dissanayake RSP USP, General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division along with Bde Comds, Bn Comds and Div Staff Officers held a Civil - Military coordinating meeting in the conference hall at Headquarters 65 Infantry Division on 08 April 2021. Further, 34 members of civil officials representing Health Sector, MOH, Forest Office, Agriculture Office, Irrigation Office, Disaster Management Office, Police and Bank sector were attended to meeting and two Divisional Secretaries also attended to the meeting.

At the outset GOC welcomed all government officials and briefed on previous activities conducted by troops related to above subject matter and educated the forum. The meeting was followed by an interactive session and lunch at the Officers’ Mess.

During the coordinating meeting, matters pertaining to the field of various Headquarters were discussed. Further, coordinated matters related to disaster threats, precautions, and actions to be taken against illegal activities in the area were also discussed.
