21 INFANTRY DIVISION CONDUCTED SCHOOL SHOES DISTRIBUTION DONATION PROGRAMME FOR 1000 STUDENTS

The Amboen Holding PLC in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Army conducted a school shoes distribution programme for 1000 needy students those who are living in remote areas in Mahawilachchiya and Nochchiyagama divisional secretariat area, on 07 and 08 April 2021 in 09 schools, with the intention of uplifting the educational standard. The main event, coincide with the programme was got underway on 07 April 2021 at Mahawilachchiya, track 3, Gamini Vidyala premises, under the patronage of General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu and fromer Chief of Staff in the Sri Lanka Army, Major General (Retired) H C P Gunathilake RSP VSP USP ndc psc.

On thefollowing day, rest of the students were received their shoes, at 08 schools premises. This community oriented programme was implemented according to the concept of the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP with the guidance of the Commander 213 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier K A N Rasika Kumara psc. This was materialized by the Amboen Holding PLC with the coordination of Major General (Retired) H C P Gunathilake RSP VSV USP ndc psc.

The event was organised by the 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the supervision of Commanding Officer Major SD Ratnasiri. The Vice President of Ambeon Holding PLC Mr Sajeewa Narangoda and Group Head of Coorperate Communication Ms Shakila Kamalendiran, the Principal, Staff of Gamini Vidyalaya and a group of Officers and Other Ranks participeted in the occasion.
