As per the direction given by General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division, Commander 622 Infantry Brigade and troops of 9th Gajaba Battalion conducted a school equipment distribution programme for school children at T/Gamunupura primary School and Dry ration packs for parents on 27 March 2021. Donated items were sponsored by lions club, Leo club Pamunugama, JA ELA and mass active creations.
Furthermore workshop for parents and grade 1, 2 children for art drawing competition, grade 3, 4, 5 children for scholar ship seminar also had done by the lecturers.
General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Maj General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with Officers of the Division and Commanding Officer 9 GR, Civil Affairs Officer and school staff also Participated for the occasion.
