65 Infantry Division conducted Dinners’ Club Speech at the Officers Mess of 65 Infantry Division on 10 March 2021 coincide with Wednesday training programme. Commander 652 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier H M U Herath RWP RSP USP Hdmc as the guest speaker on “Asymmetric Warfare”.
It was organized on the guideline given by Major General D M T Dissanayake RSP USP, General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division with the objective of broadening horizon of the knowledge of officers who are under command to the 65 Infantry Division.
The Dinners’ Club event continues with four session, Pre interactive session, Speech, Post interactive session and Dinner. It was the fruitful lecture for the officers who are serving in Sri Lanka Army, throughout the lecture the speaker enlighten the topic, and comprehensively related to the Sri Lankan context.
The Speaker welcome by Colonel General Staff Lt Col B A S S D Bulathgama GW and General Staff Officer 2 Major A A K Ruwan psc SLNG delivered thanking speech to convey gratitude to the guest speaker. Finally, General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division speak the Officers highlighting importance of the subject and event conclude with interactive session followed by Dinner.
