Security Force Wanni is taking another step forward on its’ charity programme for donating house to low income family residing in Thantirimale area. This newly constructed house was declared open by Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General W L P W Perera RWP RSP ndu and ceremonially handed over to the family of Mr. PB Sugath Lal Premasiri on 08 January 2021.
Mr. PB Sugath Lal Premasiri is living in Thupitiyawa, Thantitrimale with his family and three children in great despair with out their own house due to economic constraints.
Mrs Poorna and Mr Hemantha Wijewardana who have been engaged with charity works was keenly waiting for an opportunity to assist this destitute family, provided financial assistance to construct these house.
Constructions of house were undertaken by 5 Sri Lanka National Guard under 212 Infantry Brigade with the supervision of Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu. General Officer Commanding - 21 Division. This is the 23rd house which built and donated dy the Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni.
Commander 212 Brigade, Brigadier Anil Peiris RSP USP Civil Affairs Officers of Security Forces Headquarters Wanni, 21 Infantry Davison and 212 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard and family members of beneficiary were present at the house warming ceremony.
