The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General W L P W Perera RWP RSP ndu has been appointed as the Overall Coordinator of Prevention of Covid - 19 in the district of Vavuniya by the presidential secretariat. The first coordinating conference presided by the Commander, Security Force (Wanni) was held at this headquarters with District Secretary Mr SM Saman Bandulasena and Deputy Inspector General Mr Thissa Lal De Silva on 06 Jan 2021.
During the meeting participants exchanged their views and pertaining views and recommendations as a Coordinated effort for perversion of Covid - 19 situation in the District and order to form late viable mechanism to eradicate the disease. Brigadier General Staff Brigadier K A N N Koswatta RWP RSP Security Force wanni coordinated the event.
