General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu graced as the Chief Guest at the donation of text books held at Sampathnuwara National School on 31 December 2020.
The books were donated to 130 students who are appearing for G.C.E (O/L) examination in 2021 in Sampathnuwara Education Zone. The donation was given by the Coordinating Secretary of ATHAHITHA Foundation, Mr. Prasad Lokubalasooriya and his peers of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura and Royal College, Colombo.
The Commander 621 Infantry Brigade along with the senior officer of 62 Infantry Division, and officials of Education Zone, Sampathnuwara were also attended for the ceremony.
