Abiding by the Covid 19 health and safety protocols, 65 Infantry Division celebrated its 12th anniversary with particular interest to the blessings of the Nobel Triple Gem.
A Bodhi Pooja Pinkama was organized on 26 December 2020 in order to invoke the blessings to all Officers, Other ranks and civil servants of 65 Infantry Division and especially to those who sacrificed their valuable lives in war, whilst serving in the Division. On the following day, on 27 December 2020 an almsgiving was offered on behalf of 06 Buddhist Monks.
General Officer Commanding of 65 Infantry Division Major General Tikiri Dissanayake RSP USP graced the events as the Chief Guest along with Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Staff Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Servants of 65 Infantry Division.
