AHEAD OF CHRISTMAS, TROOPS CLEAN UP CATHOLIC CHURCH PREMISES

Troops of the 16 Battalion Sri Lanka sinha Regiment and 17(v) Vijayabahu infantry Regiment of the 561 Infantry Brigade under the 56 Infantry Division of the Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni conducted a ''Shramadana Campaign'' together to clean up the Kanagarayankulam Punid Anthony Aalay Church, Parasankulam DMS Catholic Church, Nedunkerni Ave Maria Church, and Mathiyamadu Ave Maria Church premises on 23 th & 24th December 2020 for the X'mas festival.

The Event was successfully conducted under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 56 Infantry Division, Major General Harindra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu. Brigadier Priyantha Rathnayake, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade coordinated and supervised the arrangements of Shramadana Campaign.
