Mannar - based 54 Infantry Division troops together with their Intelligence and Security Group have apprehended bulk of row Turmeric (344 Kg) which was brought Thoddaweli area in Mannar by smuggling through Indian fishing boats on 16 Wednesday in 2020.
Approximate value of this captured turmeric is 2.064 Million Rupees and further investigations are being conducted by police station - Mannar on this regard.
