TROOPS OF SECURITY FORCE WANNI RECOVERED 92 KG OF TURMERIC

Intelligence and Security Group of 54 Infantry Division recovered 92 kg 3 packs (approx weight 92 kg) of smuggled turmeric root hidden in the operation in the general area of Arippu on 07th October 2020 in 542 Brigade AOR and apprehended 3 packs (92 kg) of Smuggled Turmeric stacked in packs while the stock had been kept hidden inside the jungle. Approximate value of the apprehended Smuggled Turmeric is Rs 368,000.00.
