Intelligence and Security Group of 54 Infantry Division combination with Whisky group of 3 Commando Regiment conducted a clearing operation in the general area of Silawathurai on 4th October 2020 and apprehended 50 packs (100 kg) of Kerala Ganja (Cannabis) stacked in packs while the stock had been kept hidden inside the jungle. Approximate value of the apprehended Kerala Ganja (Cannabis) is Rs 20 million.
