177 persons arrived from Maladives on 17.08.2020 returned home after completion of their quarantine process From Palm Garden and Foreksat Rock Hotels, Anuradhapura today on 31.08.2020. They were form areas of Colombo, Gampaha, Kaluthara, Puttalama, Kegalla, Kurunegala, Gall, Hambanthota, Mathara, kandy, Monaragala, and Anuradhapura.
Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) provided required transport facilities for their destinations to Colombo, Gampaha, Kaluthara, Puttalama, Kegalla, Kurunegala, Gall, Hambanthota, Mathara, kandy, Monaragala, and Anuradhapura. Hotels issued them with refreshment to be used on their journey.
So far, 502 people have left the Palm Garden and Forest Rock Hotels Quarantine Centers with a successful quarantine, Male 163 and Female 14 with 177 returning home after today's quarantine. and 2573 people have successfully completed their quarantine under the 7 Location of Palm Garden,Foreksat Rock,Rajarata, Nuwara Wewa Hotel,Pampemadu,periyakadu and Bogoda Quarantine Centers in SFHQ (W) AOR.
Commander 212 Brigade, Brigadier Anil Piris RSP USP psc, Colonel Genaral Staff 21 Division, Officers and Other Ranks of the 21 Division and Brigade staff were present during their departure.
