A Group of 205 persons arrived from Doha, Dubai and UAE on 01st and 2nd August 2020 to the Quarantine Centers of Bogoda and Periyakadu returned home on 17 August 2020 after completing their quarantine process.
Basically these civilians were from the Districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Negambo, Kalutara, Puttalam, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Negombo, puttalam, Chilaw, Galle, Hambanthota, Matara, Matale, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Rathnapura, Monaragala, Ampara, Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura.
Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) provided required transport facilities for their destinations and also issued them with refreshment to be used on their journey.
Commander 211 Brigade Colonel JKR Jayakodi RWP USP, Commander 562 Brigade, Colonel Senaka Premawansha RWP RSP USP, Officers and Other Ranks of the 213, 563 Brigade staff were present during their departure.
