SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) VESTS TWO MORE HOUSES FOR LESS INCOME FAMILIES

Security Force Wanni taking another step forward for the housing project, vests two more houses to low income families residing in Mihinthale and Thanthirimale areas on 13 August 2020. These newly constructed houses were declared open by Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Dammika Jayasinghe and ceremonially handed over to the families of Mr. P Chandrasekara and Mr. SP Leonel Senevirathne.

Mr. P Chandrasekara living in Samadigama, Sippikulama, Mihinthale was living with his wife and four children in great despair due to economic constraints for a long time. And also Mr. SP Leonel Senevirathne living in Thuppitiyawa, Thanthirimale also living with his wife and four children was undergoing with great despair due to economic constraints for a long time.

Philanthropist living in Australia Mr Malin Rajapaksha who was keenly waiting for an opportunity to lend a helping hand to a destitute families, provided financial assistance to construct these houses. Constructions of houses were undertaken by 7 (V) SLAC and 5 SLNG under 212 Brigade with the supervision of General Officer Commanding - 21 Division.
