A new RO Plant which was built on the camp premises of 21st Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Nawathkulam - Omanthai, was declared open for the use of Officers and ORs on 06th June 2020. The RO plant was ceremonially open by the General Officer Commanding - 56 Division, Major General AN Amarasekara USP ndu by the invitation of Colonel KPA Perera RSP- Commander 563 Brigade and Commanding Officer 21 SLSR , Lieutenant Colonel JMJ Perera SLSR. Further, this RO plant will also contribute to provide purified water to the civilians in the village.
