Taking another step forward for the housing project Commander Security Force Wanni Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc, laid the foundation stone for a new house of Mr K D Nandasena at residing at Pemaduwa, Anuradapura on 06 February 2020.
Mr K D Nandasena is having fore children and was undergoing lot of hardships even without a primary shelter to reside. Philanthropist living in Australia Mr Janath Gunasekara sponsored fund’s to construct a this house and it was coordinated by the Commander 212 Brigade Colonel Anil Peiris RSP USP psc through his personal contacts.
Construction of the house was under taken by troops of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard with the guidance of Commander 212 Brigade and under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General Kumar Jayapathirane RSP.
Senior Officers of 212 Brigade, Commanding Officer of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard and Assistant Director of Planning, Divisional Secretariat - Mahawilachchiya, family members of beneficiary along with number of civilians in the village too were present at the ceremony.
