In line with the National celebration of independence Day, Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) under the instruction of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc, marked the 72nd independence day on 4th February 2020 with the participation of all Officers and Other Ranks of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni).
The formal function was held in front of the main office complex of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) and thereafter a tree planting programme was held with the participation of District Secretary of Vavuniya Mr Saman Bandulasena, Additional District Secretary Mr Thiresh Kumar, Vavuniya Divisional Secretary Mr. N. Kamaladas under the theme of “Thuru Mithuru Nawa Ratak”. at camp premises of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni).
Brigadier Administration and Quartering Brigadier Jayanath Randeniya, Brigadier General Staff Brigadier KANN Koswatta RWP RSP, and all Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Civilians serving in Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) made their presence during this occasion.
