As per the instructions of Army Headquarters to commemorate the victims who lost the lives, properties and as well the habitats from bushfire occurred very recently in Australia and several disastrous situations in worldwide, troops of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) under the direction of Commander Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc organised a Bodhi Pooja programme at the camp premises on 14 January 2020.
Bushfire is a tragic menace constantly being faced by thousands of people in Australia and this time it was severely affected its continent losing millions of lives for animals, forest and for the human being too.
The Bodhi Pooja programme was held under the patronage of Venerable Kirigal Wewe Wimalasara thero at Madukanda Sri Dhaladha Viharaya and he expressed his condolence to everyone who lost the lives during this disastrous situation while blessing for people in all over the world for the year 2020.
The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc, Principal Staff Officers, Senior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) made their presence for the event.
