In view of enhancing the religious harmony between the community in Wanni region, troops of Security Force (Wanni) under the direction of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc organised Christmas Carols, donation programmes and celebration of Christmas during the festive season of catholic community.
A special mass and programme of reciting Christmas Carols at Pachchima Marry Catholic Church at Pudhiyasinnakulam were organised by 21 Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment with the direction of Commander 563 Brigade and under the supervision of General Officer Commanding of 56 Division Major General Jaliya Senarathne RWP RSP on 24 December 2019.
The Chief Prelate of Pachchima Marry Catholic Church Rev Father Sugandharaja made his respectful presence for the programme.
General Officer Commanding of 56 Division Major General Jaliya Senarathne RWP RSP, Commanders of 561 and 563 Brigades, Senior Officers of Headquarters 56 Division, 561, 563 Brigades, Officers, Other Ranks and catholic community in the area were present at the occasion.
