The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc made a visit to Rajangana, Kalawewa, Thalakolawewa and some areas in the vicinity of those reservoirs on 22 December 2019 to inspect the adverse condition of the weather will it cause any disastrous situation.
The spill gates of Kalawewa and some of Rajanganaya located in 21 Division AOR have opened due to extreme weather condition and responsible officials have advisedthe residents living in low line and close to the tanks to remain vigilant about the possibility of flooding.
The Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc has instructed all under command formations in Security Force (Wanni) to be alert on any disastrous situation.
