The newly constructed building for administrative purpose was declared opened by the General Officer Commanding 56 Division, Brigadier WMJRK Senarathne RWP RSP in an auspicious time on 18 November 2019.
This building is comprised with quartering stores, office complex, workshop for SLEME, and a yard for ESR. This was a long feld requirement for 56 Division and now troops have been facilitated to perform their duties in pleasant atmosphere.
All officers of Headquarters 56 Division attend this event.
