As an initiative of Commander 213 Brigade Colonel KAN Rasika Kumara psc, an Bikkhu accommodation complex at Kiralagala Rajamaha Viharaya in Divulwewa was constructed by troops under 213 Brigade and vested with the Maha Sangha during a series of charitable activities held on 15 and 16 October 2019.
Continuing the charity, troops under 213 Brigade contributed to organise series of meritorious activities in line with ‘Katina Pooja’ (the ceremony offering new robes for the veneration).
The ceremony of vesting newly constructed bikkhu accommodation complex was held with the presence of General Officer Commanding of 21 Division Major General Kumar Jayapathirane RSP as the chief guest.
Senior Officers, Officers of Headquarters 21 Division and 213 Brigade, number of villagers in Divulwewa area participated in this occasion.
