542 Brigade in collaboration with Buddhist Ladies Association of Matale, donated dry ration packs for 50 families of Narikadu and Kondachchi villages on 20 September 2019.
The event was coordinated by Commander 542 Brigade, Colonel IHMRK Herath USP psc under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 54 Division, Brigadier AAIJ Bandara RWP RSP USP.
The General Officer Commanding 54 Division, Brigadier AAIJ Bandara RWP RSP USP attended in the programme of donating dry rations for those needy families.
The Commander 542 Brigade, Senior Officers, members of Buddhist Ladies Association- Matale and number of civilians of two villages were participated in the programme.
