GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 56 DIVISION INSPECTS THE ONGOING TRAINING OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAMS

As the initiatives of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General HJS GunawardenaRSP VSV USP ndc psc initiated a special training program for emergency response teams with self defence martial art training session was launched from 07 and 08 September 2019. The General Officer Commanding of 56 Division Major General HP Seneviratne VSV USP ndu made a close inspection on the progress of training on emergency response teams which represented under command battalions to 56 Division.

The series of training sessions are closely supervised by the Brigade Commanders of 561 and 563 Brigades along with Commanding Officers under the directions of General Officer Commanding - 56 Division. Emergency response teams of all under command Battalions under 56 Division were trained on self defence martial art style named “Kiyoshiryu Budo”.
