As another step for the welfare of deprived civilians living in interiors of Anuradhapura Administrative Area, the General Officer Commanding of 21 Division Major General H P N K Jayapathirana RSP initiated a programme on 06 August 2019 to distribute dry rations packets.
This donation programme was sponsored by one of the well-known media reporters in Sri Lanka Mr Nadeeka Karunanayake and his family members.
Over 80 deprived families in Thanthirimale area were benefited through this social welfare programme.
The General Officer Commanding of 21 Division Major General H P N K Jayapathirana RSP along with donors made their presence for the programme as chief guests.
Senior Officers representing Headquarters 21 Division and its under command formations and number of villagers in Thanthirimale area too were present at the occasion.
